Underground municipal pipe network is the infrastructure for the existence and development of city,shouldering the task of whole city information transmission and energy transport day and night,which is an indispensable important part of the city.In recent years,with the rapid development of the city municipal pipeline network system,accidents of underground pipeline caused by pipeline mainte nance,updating and dilatation happening frequently,and have brought great influence to urban economy and residents.Considering from long-term development,the traditional two-dimensional network management space performs poor,each department information exchange is not smooth,management work is not coordinated,these limitations have become the bottleneck which restricts the healthy development of municipal pipe network.Therefore,the study on 3D visualization construction and management of underground municipal pipe network has become the key to solve the problem.BIM(Building Information Modeling)is the Information technology revolution of the engineering construction industry once again,which realizes the great leap of the traditional 2D design to 3D Information model.The core value of BIM lies in throughout the whole life cycle of construction projects,which has the characteristics of the model of intelligent visualization,information integration and application intelligence,lays a foundation for BIM technology in city network construction and the application of the full life cycle management.In this background,this article focuses on the application of BIM technology in the whole life cycle of underground municipal pipeline project.Paper is based on the reference of related research at home and abroad,aiming at the existing main problems of urban underground pipeline engineering construction and management,and put forward concrete application strategy in whole life cycle,which is based on BIM technology,opening a new development direction for realizing the intelligent application and fine management of underground pipe network.First of all,the article introduces the connotation of BIM technology,related application software and the advanced technology cluster.Secondly,this paper summarizes the traditional underground pipeline engineering problems and states the advantages of BIM technology in solving these problems,build the whole life cycle application framework based on BIM.Thirdly,taking an underground pipeline project in a city as an example,the collaborative design based on BIM approach to 3 D core model creation and design optimization,and put forward the realization idea of the model based on BIM-4D.Fourthly,taking practice process of whole life cycle as the main line,this paper deeply studies the key application of BIM technology in the whole life cycle,such as deepening design,construction schedule management and construction cost control,etc.This topic proposes specific application strategy for BIM technology in whole life cycle of underground municipal pipeline project innovatively,which demonstrate the feasibility of continuity application in different stages of engineering in whole life cycle of BIM technology with actual cases,which has certain theoretical value and practical significance.
