Building Information Model(BIM)technology is a technological change initiated by the informatization wave in the field of engineering construction.It uses the three-dimensional model as a carrier to realize the application of digital information in the whole life cycle of the project through the input,management and application of project information.Thereby achieving the purpose of efficient and refined construction of the project.Through the application of digitalization and informationization in project design,construction and operation management,the decision-making level and efficiency of each participating unit are effectively improved.The cross-river municipal tunnel involves multi-disciplinary fields such as ship transportation and water conservancy.The construction is susceptible to weather,river hydrology,waterway transportation,engineering geology,surrounding buildings and other factors.At the same time,the project has large investment,tight construction period and many participating units.Under the current management level of municipal facilities construction,the project design and construction are separated and the management is extensive,the information coordination is low,the big data in the construction process is asleep,then the life cycle management is is more impossible.The traditional and extensive engineering management mode can hardly meet the need of municipal project informationization construction.The improvement and innovation of construction management mode has become an important task.The introduction of BIM technology into municipal tunnel engineering becomes a solution to the above problems.This thesis studies the application of BIM in a municipal tunnel project,analyzes the problems existing in traditional project management,puts forward the advantages of the application of BIM technology led by the owner,and introduces the specific application of BIM technology in project design,schedule,quality and safety management,operation and maintenance.According to the calculation,the benefits generated by BIM technology are far greater than the cost of introduction.A total of 26 design collisions were detected in the project.Compared with the traditional project management methods,the changes and rework caused by design conflicts were reduced from 4-5% to 0.6%.The accuracy rate of the preparation of progress plan was increased by 30%,and the project was completed three months ahead of schedule.No fatal accident has occurred;The project coordination efficiency is 4 times that of the traditional project management mode.5 BIM technical managers were trained.This thesis uses fuzzy AHP to establish a BIM application benefit evaluation model,and selects 18 evaluation indicators in five aspects: development strategy,quality and safety,project progress,engineering investment,operation and maintenance.After analysis and calculation,the comprehensive benefit score was 91.075.Besides the score of 88.089 in operation and maintenance,the scores of other four aspects were all higher than 90 points,which achieved the expected results.Through the application research and benefit evaluation of the BIM technology of the municipal tunnel project,we found by using the customized BIM information management platform and combining the informatization management idea and work path,owners can realize the delicacy management of project progress,quality,safety,payment,equipment and other information,and achieve the goal of reducing investment,saving time,improving quality and safety management level,enhancing coordination capacity and accumulating project data.This thesis also found that compared with the mode of independent application of BIM technology by each unit,the owner-led model can coordinate the construction stages and the participating units from the overall interests of the project,thus maximizing the application efficiency of BIM technology.This thesis proves that BIM technology has certain application value in the project management of a municipal tunnel project.
