Marine power station is an important part of the ship and the power management system is the heart of marine power station in control field and the reliability of the power management system plays an extremely important role in the ship safetly running.This paper is based on the analysis of the study in the function of the marine power station automation,carring out the redundant design of the power management system,in order to improveits reliability.PLC has strong anti-jamming capability,high reliability and it is widely used in industrial control.Siemens S7-1200 series PLCis used as core controller in the design,and configuration programming use Portal V13 version,and configuration monitoring PC useWEINVIEW MT8100i,and software configuration interface writing use the EB8000.According to the working principle and functions of the PLC as well as the characteristics of the marine power station automation,the redundant design of controller integrated into the marine power station automation function,realized those functions including fault self-diagnosis of the controller and subordinate controller setting,switch to the master-slave controller and data backup,PC monitor and redundant monitoring functions such as interface,completingthe redundant design of thepower management system.This paper illustrates the function of the marine power station,and then the design of the core controlleron the basis of this hardware,including hardware configuration and software function of the process of writing,then achieve the function of ship power station automation.In the meantime,this paper takes measures to redundancy design of the marine power station core controller S7-1200 series PLC and the corresponding module by introducing Siemens large PLC redundancy in order to improve the system reliability and cost savings.Finally to start the marine power station automationsimulates the fault occurring in the process of debugging automated function,at the same time testingthe redundant design andrecordingthe phenomenon and test datain the laboratory environment.Trials show that S7-1200 PLC as the core controllercan achieve the basic requirements of the redundant design,and will not affect the realization of automationon the basis of meeting the function of marine power station automation,which is great significance to improve reliability of the marine power station.
