Research And Application Of Control System Of Marine Electric Power Plant Based On PLC

With the development of industry and agriculture.The requirement for reliable running of power equipment is more and more necessary. Therefore,in the areas wherehigh realiablility and safety are required,controlling,monitoring,and follow-up managing power equipment are more and more important,the same with marine power station. In order to realize the realible control and safe operation and maintenance of marine power station,and enhance the automation degree of unmanned engine room,the thesis has designed a novel distributed marine power automation system(network monitoring and management system) which can increase the reliability and economic effect,using advanced industrial control technology,computer technology.The automation is composed of two operating station computers (one is a backup computer) and three slave computers.Every slave computer,which is cored by Siemens S7—300 PLC ,controls a generator independently. Slave computers have data detection and control function with the help of the data detection and control interfaces which are composed of all kinds of position swiches,sensors and execution units.Master computer (operation station computer) is industrial PC with Windows NT as operating system.Useing graphical user interface,master computer has data capture and displaying,data recording and data enquiring functions.Slave computer (measurement and control unit) and master computer (monitoring and management unit) are connected by serial communication for data exchanging.we designed the PLC correspondence network by using the WinCC, a supervise control and configuration software of the company of Siemens, and its communication function, to realize the surveillance function of the marine power station.In addition,appling technique of system modeling and computer system simulation, under the research of a marine power system, and combined with characteristic of marine diesel generator and asynchronous motor, a model of marine automatic electric power station system model is built by using MATLAB software. And simulation of two generator's parallel connection is completed.
