The Design And Implementation Of Video Event Detection System For Expressway Tunnel

With the rapid development of China's economy,car ownership has been growing rapidly and the demand for people's travel has been increasing.The expressways have become more and more popular in people's travel,and highway tunnels are the throat of expressway network.The safety problems of highway tunnels have been paid more and more attention by the society,which has become the focus of social and highway operation and management units,because of the high traffic volume and the fast speed of highway tunnel.In order to meet the needs of the operation and management units,this paper designs automatic detection system of tunnel video events in expressway video monitoring system to find out the traffic events in time and ensure the safety and smoothness of expressway tunnels in Liaoning Dantong Expressway tunnels.,With pedestrians safe travel,put an end to human negligence caused by management loopholes.This paper designs a set of automatic detection system of highway tunnel events based on video processing,and explores and improves the existing automatic detection system of highway tunnel events to achieve timely alarm in the event of emergencies and realize the safe operation and management of expressway.Design includes three main function modules,namely,video capture module,video detection processing module,event management module.Video capture module,the use of high-definition network cameras for video surveillance throughout the set of programs in the highway tunnel along the two-way,every interval of about 100m,set a set of high-definition fixed focus camera and a set of high-speed dome camera,fixed focus camera to complete the event detection video The video detection and processing module uses the event analyzer developed by the Citilog video detection system,and uses the video camera to collect the image data of the camera.The video camera is used for the auxiliary event processing,and a set of integrated gun camera is set up at the tunnel entrance and exit.The event management module detects the abnormal events and automatically uploads the warning information and carries out the alarming.The event is screened by the monitoring personnel and the event management is carried out according to the event situation.In the event management system,the event management module detects the abnormal traffic events by using the video segmentation technology.The subsequent processing.After the application of the system in the Kuandian section of Dantong Expressway,the running status is very stable.The detection accuracy of the main abnormal traffic events such as parking in the tunnel,pedestrian,traffic accident and spilled material can reach more than 90%,which can detect the sudden abnormalities in time.Traffic events,meet the design specifications,to meet the daily management needs of highway tunnels to ensure that the highway operation and management unit of the tunnel emergency response and disposal of traffic incidents,the highway operation and management played a positive role.
