Engine Room Monitoring and Alarm System is an important part of the marine engine automation,which can accurately and reliably monitor the status and parameters of various equipments in the ship's cabin,if failure occurs,the system will automatically issue sound and light alarm as set.Recently,with the development of information technology,Network communications technology and automation,put forward higher requirements in terms of intelligent,information,integration.The article is mainly aimed at the existing turbine simulator monitoring alarm system communication is not stable,the data acquisition card to collect quantity is limited,the general acquisition card is bound to increase the quantity acquisition card,increase costs,This paper designs a ship cabin monitoring and alarm system based on Cortex-M3 and CAN bus communication combines with net-work technology and embedded technology.The system consists of two parts:(1)The hardware design of data acquisition cardLPC1788 processor is the control core of this system,around which related peripheral circuits are designed.The real time updating of the state data of the engine room equipment is realized by the analog,digital,input and output.It has realized a data acquisition function of both Sending and receiving data in real time by using custom CAN bus application layer protocol.The programs of the data acquisition system is completed in the Keil MDK,and programmed into internal FLASH of the LPC1788 with the help of AK100 simulator.And with the help of PC CAN-test debugging software and test plate have carried on the debugging system.Considering the existence of serious electromagnetic interference in the ship engine room,several anti interference measures are designed to guarantee the stability and reliability of the system.(2)The upper machine monitoring alarm systemCompleting the program design of the interface and data processing module,variety of parameters,alarm status display mode and extended alarm mode based on VC++6.0 development software,alarm processing data base and others database Finally,complete the communication between data acquisition system and PC monitoring system by CAN-bus.Test results show that the design and development of engine room monitoring alarm system has high reliability,strong real time performance,comprehensive functions,can satisfy the application requirement of practical engineering.
