Research On Service Design Of Public Facilities In The Context Of Smart City

With more and more people entering into the city,the development of city is facing more and more obstacles.Under the construction of smart city,the living level of urban residents have been steadily improved,and the demands of activities in public space are becoming increasingly strong.As the main part of the public space,the research of public facilities is still marginalized.The design of public facilities is more extensive and the roles of participants are diverse in the smart city,it is really difficult to realize the value of public service with the traditional research methods in smart city.This paper analyzes the main problems of public facilities nowadays,introduces the design of public facilities with the methodology of service design,and puts forward the research topic of public facilities by using stakeholder method.In this paper,the stakeholder method is used as the research entry point,and the related groups of public facilities are divided into "visible users" and "invisible factors".Using the user's deep interview and customer service tracking to obtain the stakeholders' behavior contents in the public space as well as the behavior journey of typical stakeholders.On this basis,this paper explored the service points between stakeholders and public facilities,the service points between stakeholders and stakeholders,and puts forward the design principles of public facilities based on stakeholders: function,usability,value of care.And then discusses the three principles from the perspective of visible users and invisible factors.And brings forward the design strategies of public facilities service design: to clarify the design goal from the facility to the service level,to build the public facilities service system and to improve the management of the whole life cycle of public facilities.Finally,using Philips Innovation and Technology Park as a research case in Shanghai Minhang District,to further elaborate the proposed public facilities service design strategies.This study is an exploratory attempt of service design applied to public facilities from the perspective of public facilities stakeholders in order to realize the transformation of public facilities from the functional value of the facility ontology into the public service value,which can provide reference for the development of public facilities in the context of smart city.
