Research On The Vulnerability Assessment Of Small-townscape

This thesis studies a variety of problems facing small-townscape construction under the circumstances of improving small-town development quality and developing efficiency.Compared with cities,small-town scape with single organizational structure appears more sensitive and fragile toward interferences.A great number of small-town scape construction requires systematic,scientifically qualitative analysis and quantitative basis to support and improve resource recycling efficiency with on the background of massively supportive policy.Therefore,this research,from the perspective of vulnerability,aims to explore feasible routes of small-town scape vulnerability assessment,with the purpose of providing useful references for improving small-town scape construction efficiency on the background of new urbanization.It classifies and compares domestic and foreign study system,study strategies and study method of vulnerability with researches from both domestically and overseas.Besides,it employs foreign study strategies of“vulnerability system-vulnerability assessment-vulnerability solutions”.First of all,on the basis of structure and function of townscape system,it mainly explores vulnerability causes and features and also proposes features of townscape vulnerability such as low sensibility,low visibility and low continuability.Moreover,this thesis,for the first time,defines connotation and idea of townscape vulnerability from the perspective of scape system function.And it gives a further analysis on connotation and features of townscape vulnerability assessment and manages to lay a theoretic foundation in assessment research.Secondly,in compliance with scientific,practical and flexible principles and on the basis of three assessment factors accounting for vulnerability,it employs analytic hierarchy process and synthetic index method to build primary model for townscape vulnerability assessment.On top of that,it also employs Delphi Method to conduct index selection,analytic hierarchy process to verify index weight,Likert scale method to verify index standards as a whole.Furthermore,it proposes townscape vulnerability index as final standards for townscape vulnerability assessment to build townscape vulnerability assessment method system,which will provide method guidance for follow-up townscape vulnerability assessment practices.Thirdly,with Tongyang Town of Chaohu City from Anhui Province and on the basis of Tongyang Town's townscape vulnerability assessment elements and reading on potential interfering system,it combines with primary assessment model of townscape vulnerability assessment method system from fourth chapter,constituted bythree assessment elements such as sensibility,visibility and continuability and six sub-elements such as completeness,orderliness,unique shape,special meaning and resource recycling and supportive system.On the other hand,it is found that vulnerability index of Tongyang Town is 0.2962 based on 27 specific vulnerability assessment index systems by further employing linear weighted sum method as a result,which indicates that its town is moderate.Therefore,correction plan is correspondingly made given high potential risk indexes.
