Spatial Temporal Pattern Evolution Of Urban Vulnerability Based On"Pressure Sensitivity Adaptation"Model

The city is the region with the greatest degree of human transformation on the earth,the gathering place of population resources,the important node of social networking,the cradle of rapid development of science and technology,and the concentrated embodiment of modern civilization.With the development of global modernization,a large number of people from rural areas continue to flow into the city,attracting a variety of production factors,urbanization has become an irreversible trend in the context of global modernization.On the one hand,urbanization promotes the rapid development of the city,on the other hand,it also causes the urban system to face many vulnerability problems,such as ecological environment pollution,dense population,traffic jams and so on.How to improve the adaptability and resistance of urban system to internal and external uncertain disturbance,how to make urban system recover rapidly from the impact,how to improve the level of urban vulnerability and promote urban sustainable development,has become an urgent hot topic in the field of urban development.First of all,through combing the research results of vulnerability and urban vulnerability,this paper clearly defines the concept of "urban vulnerability",and then uses the methods of literature research and theoretical analysis to construct the conceptual model of urban "pressure sensitivity adaptation" vulnerability,and clearly divides the connotation of urban vulnerability into three core elements: pressure,sensitivity and adaptability,which is the basis of urban vulnerability It lays a theoretical foundation for the research on the evaluation of the quality of life.Secondly,based on the conceptual model of urban vulnerability of "pressure sensitivity adaptation",according to the three-dimensional connotation of system theory and sustainable development theory,the pressure,sensitivity and adaptability are further divided into three dimensions: environment,economy and society.Under this framework,the urban vulnerability evaluation index system is constructed,and on this basis,the urban vulnerability evaluation model is constructed Thus,it can be more intuitive and effective to analyze what kind of pressure the city’s environmental,economic and social subsystems bear,what kind of sensitive state they are in,and how to deal with the ability to resist interference.Thirdly,taking all kinds of statistical yearbooks and bulletins as the main data sources,this paper makes an empirical analysis of urban vulnerability in 30 cities,including 22 provincial capitals,4 autonomous regional capitals and 4 municipalities,except Taipei and Lhasa,to explore the evolution of spatial-temporal pattern of urban vulnerability,and identify the key influencing factors of urban vulnerability.The results show that: 1)the level of urban vulnerability has decreased significantly in the past 15 years,of which 21 cities have suffered from a decrease in the level of pressure,30 cities have a decrease in the level of sensitivity,and 29 cities have improved their adaptability;2)the resistance to urban vulnerability improvement still exists,and the pressure of resource consumption,house price and population continues to increase,which hinders the improvement of urban vulnerability;3)the urban vulnerability has been improved The spatial distribution of vulnerability is not balanced.The spatial distribution characteristics of "sensitivity" and "adaptability" are basically consistent with that of "vulnerability",while the spatial distribution characteristics of "pressure" are opposite to that of "vulnerability".Finally,according to the analysis results,from the six aspects of resisting natural disasters,controlling environmental pollution,efficient use of resources,optimizing industrial structure,innovation driven economy,improving infrastructure,and ensuring residents’ happiness,this paper puts forward the Optimization Countermeasures of urban vulnerability,in order to provide theoretical support for the improvement of urban vulnerability,resilience and sustainable development.
