The Conservation Research Based On GIS Technology Of Sanfang-qixiang Historical District In Fuzhou

The theories of historical district in our country is more and more mature,but traditional protection way exhibits large limitations in the aspect of information processing when facing complicated historical district.And it finally makes an impact on implementation.Depends on new mode of thinking and new working way can solve the problems of the older protective method radically.Bringing GIS technology into historical district brought a new chance for improving the sdandard of historical district conservation.Sanfang-Qixiang Historical District,Fuzhou is one of the largest and the most complete historical districts in China.It has high values of research.This research is based on GIS technology and the actual work of the conservation of Sanfang-Qixiang.Firstly,it analyses the historical protection situation of Sanfang-Qixiang which is not based on GIS,discusses the problem of traditional method and the way about how to solve them.Secondly,it uses the operation process as the mainline to investigate the structure of the Sanfang-Qixiang Current Architecture Information Geodatabase.Concretely,the research including elementary conception,collection and pretreatment of bibliographical information,structure of property table,advance entering of information,fieldwork and improving data,construction of geodatabase,and update and management of dynamic database.The research discussed the practical problems and experience that produce from the construction process of database.The research finished product of geodatabase can be used to help the management of Sanfang-Qixiang,and provide some experience to other conservation work.Thirdly,base on architecture database,it carrying on spatial analysis of Sanfang-Qixiang.Adopt frequently-used spatial analyst tools,SQL select function,and visualization of information to delve the connotation of Sanfang-Qixiang.It investigated about Sanfang-Qixiang’s conservation quota,obscure of new architecture,descend of life atmosphere,comparison of historical data,and so on.Go through relating the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,and offer some proposal for subsequent research.Finally,this research compared the difference of thinking and working ways between traditional method and the method based on GIS,and summaries the superiority and limitations of the GIS protective method.Trying to make a contribution to improve traditional protective method,and help to popularize the application of GIS in historical district.
