Research On Spatial Structure Of Historical And Cultural Blocks Based On Space Syntax

With the deepening of reform and opening up,Many of our cities are facing the problem of renewal of the old city.The old city,especially the historical and cultural district,is the scarcity of space with a great sense of place,showing a city of spiritual temperament and humanities in a focalized way,and it also serves as a "living heritage" and supports the real life of the neighborhood.However,in recent years,the practice of renovation in historical and cultural districts has always be limited to a single building and its interior space,ignored the "ontological" and "structural" characteristics of the street space,thus causing some problems after the transformation of the district,such as the lack of vitality,disordered spaceorganization,difficult to feel the image of the region.In response to this situation,we need to change the traditional concept of static protection,attach importance to and strengthen the analysis and understanding of the street space in the traditional neighborhood.In this regard,the paper has based on the spatial syntax of the research ideas,and took Nanchang Wanshou Palace historical block as an example,using the new research perspective and technical means to analyze the street system of Wanshou Palace historical block in a quantitative way to explore the correlation between spatial structure and social and cultural logic,the purpose is to provide guidance and support for the cultural inheriting and sustainable development of Wanshou Palace historical district in Nanchang,and to verify the applicability of spatial syntax theory in the practice of protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks.This paper consists of three parts.The first part is the basic theoretical part of the paper,including research object,purpose,methods and research status at home and abroad.Among them,the relevant concepts and techniques of spatial syntax theory have been gotten a focus on expounding,which lays a solid theoretical foundation for the study of the full text.The second part is the core content of the paper.The syntactic analysis of the spatial structure of the historical blocks of Wanshou Palace in Nanchang is carried out from four aspects,including different periods,macroscopic,meso and micro.Among them,the spatial analysis of each level is constructed by the corresponding mathematical model,adopt the software platform to calculate a number of parametervariables to explore and reveal the interaction between the street-network and the moving flow.Finally,summarize the text and draw the conclusion,that is,achieving the sustainable development of Wanshou Palace historical district should need to take the spatial composition of the district and the development of urban functional Structure into consideration,in the whole to ensure the interaction of urban and district vitality.
