Over the past 20 years,CAD technology popularization enables engineers to get rid of the drawing board,converting blueprint into computer 2D data,it is the first revolution in the construction sector.BIM technology use 3D data to promote the design,construction and management of construction projects achieve digitization and informatization,to promote projects related participants improve decision-making ability and efficiency,becoming the second revolution in the construction sector.With the promotion of "Internet +" national strategy,a number of new industries,new types of operation and new business models are emerging and developing.Vigorous implement of the digital,networked and intelligent transformation in the port economic development will create new advantages of the port great-leap-forward development.As a new technology used in the digitization and informatization of port construction field,BIM technology is facing enormous development opportunities.Several new measures should be implemented to promote the transformation and upgrade of Tianjin Port and the improvement of management ability,service function and normative construction.For instance,carrying on the research on BIM application in Tianjin Port construction field,and creating BIM basic platform for port construction projects firstly.Furthermore,based on informatization,forming new management ideas and work paths.Through the launching pilot of project design,construction management and project management,gradually deepening and extending to entire industry of port planning,construction and construction projects lifecycle.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the following contents,including concept and characteristics of BIM technology,the value and existing problems of the BIM technology application at the present stage,common BIM software,BIM model creation and BIM outcome delivery.Secondly,this thesis focuses on analysing the existing problems of Tianjin Port construction projects management model at the present stage,creatively put forward the development of "PMT+PMC lifecycle projects management model based on BIM " in the scope of Tianjin Port;Focusing on the application value,workflow,delivering outcomes and standards of the BIM technology used in all stages of Tianjin Port construction projects lifecycle management.Finally,this thesis analyzes the application of BIM leaded by a BIM consulting company in demonstrative projects,which include architecture engineering,port & waterway engineering and operation management project.It is proved that BIM technology has great application value in the lifecycle management of Tianjin Port construction projects.
