| The constructive quality of engineering project is closely connected with theregionally economic development and the interest of the public. In the course of theengineering project, quality management must consider not only the application andinvestment effect of the project, but safety of operators and users in the process ofimplementing the project. An effective quality management system of the engineeringproject is the first priority of quality management and an important means to improvethe quality of the project and of the work. Based on the construction of the relevantlaws and regulations, China has established a perfect system and has implementedISO9000certification in the enterprises. The relevant management regulations havebeen set forth and performed, but in reality, the quality management methods andtechniques that are more appropriate to China’s national conditions should befigured out in practice. In this way, the goals for the quality of the project can berealized.In this study, the project of "Ore Terminal of Nanjiang Dock" was taken a case.First, the construction situations of the project were introduced in detail, primarilyfrom the arrangement for the implementation stage of the project, use as well as theinfluencing factors in the entire process of construction management. By acomprehensive, full and detailed analysis,this paper pointed out the defects of qualitymanagement in the construction of this project, and suggested some targeted solutions.This study has summarized the quality management of the construction project andemphasized which aspects should be focused on in the quality management.Firstly, this paper is about an introduction to some basic concepts and theories,such as the project quality and quality management. Secondly, taken the project of "Ore Terminal of Nanjiang Dock" as a case, a detailed analysis is made on the system,procedure and system design of quality management. In this case, much importance isput on analyzing advantages and disadvantages in the construction of the project.Finally, this study has conducted an overall evaluation on the "project of Ore Terminalof Nanjiang Dock", explained the causes of its success, as well as the problemsexisting in the whole process.The study shows that, in the process of quality management concerning theproject "Ore Terminal of Nanjiang Dock", the system should be further improved. anda clear division of responsibilities and incentives are lack in the whole process. The experience of doing the project has been summarized. The PDCA cycle was adoptedto improve the effect of quality control gradually, leading to successful completion ofthe project. This study will facilitate the improvement of quality management on theproject similar to it in the future. |
