In recent years, the rail transit ultra-long lines begin to appear on a large scale because the sizes of cities are growing rapidly. The distribution of passenger flow of ultra-long-lines is obviously uneven on the space-time network. If the train routing is still simple like single or long-short routing,it will be hard to meet with the passenger travel demand. Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the train's combined routing scheme which adapts the characteristics of passenger flow distribution on the ultra-long line. This article takes single linear line which is not fixed train routing as the research object.Based on the macroscopic analysis of the spatiotemporal distribution of passenger flow and the microscopic description of the passenger travel behavior, the paper studies the combined train routing scheme of urban rail transit to adapt different passenger flow characteristics.(1)Defines the research scope of this paper through summarizing the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of daily passenger flow and the organization method of transport for unexpect large passenger. And then summarizes the research status of urban rail transit train routing scheme from four aspects, which are route origin-destination settlement, train routing analysis, routing comparison and routing optimization.(2)Clarifies the influencing factors and generation process of train routing scheme of urban rail transit.Firstly, classifies the passenger flow from the angle of the reason and the characteristic of the passenger flow's fluctuation, and analyzes the particularity of the characteristics of ultra-long line.Secondly, divides the train routing types into single routing and combined routing, and then campares the differences of characteristics and application of the two types. Finally, the condition of single rail line's combined train routing is put forward.(3)Two optimization models of the train routing scheme are established because the routing scheme are different at the stage of operation and planning. The objectives are minimizing the cost of passenger travel time and minimizing the cost of operating.Focuses on the description of the combined train routings when the train routing form is not fixed, and classifies the passengers according to the mutual relationship between passengers' destination and the return station,so as to describe and meet the passenger's travel demand detailly in the established models. Finally,a multi-population genetic algorithm was designed to solve the models.(4)One of R lines in urban railway is studied as an example.Firstly,it analyses the spatial and temporal distribution of passenger flow, and then solves the train routing scheme using the proposed model and algorithm, which validates the validity of the model and the algorithm. Finally,it does the sensitivity analysis of the optimization results.
