Compared with metal material,carbon fiber composite material has relatively high specific stiffness,specific strength,flexibility in design and so on,has been widely used in aerospace field,but its flexible laminating design make it difficult to analyze material performance.The research focus on a developing space manipulator,research dynamic response of the space manipulator in the process of capture condition and progressive damage of the composite material arm,and the following works were completed.Based on the study of the brittle failure mechanism and damage form of carbon fiber composite,with the analysis method of progressive damage and Hashin criterion,build a progressive damage failure model to realize degradation of material properties.Simulation of CFRP laminate with hole were done to analyze ultimate loading capacity,analyze damage evolution and development trend of damage,to validate the analysis model.Develop the subroutine which can realize the function of defining variable composite material,through rational design of variable stiffness composite laminate stacking sequence,compare the loading capacity of CFRP laminates with variable stiffness composite material and linear fiber composite material.Build equivalent analysis model for space manipulator,assemble the model to working conditions,fulfill modal analysis and dynamic response of space manipulator,analyze material damage and ultimate loading ability of space manipulator.
