Because of its low energy consumption,low environmental pollution and short construction period,the modern tram has been accepted by more and more cities as a supplementary form of urban public transport.The planning and construction of the tram need to be based on the characteristics of the tram itself,it can't simply use other rail traffic analyses and design methods.The incomplete closure of Right-of way presents a higher requirement to signal priority control.It is a key point in the engineering to study the tram through the intersection efficiently and reasonably.This paper's subject investigated is the delay of the tram intersection.Based on the simulation data of different factors of the different tram signal control strategies,it explores the influence of multiple parameters to vehicles and trams' delay and provides recommendations for signal policy selection for the intersection planning and design.Firstly this paper introduces the concept of priority control strategy for tram.It expounds the tram's design points of lines and sites,and briefs the crossing situations under partial phases.Secondly,this paper makes combined microscopic simulation of the four influencing factors(the layout mode of the tram,the way of intersection turning,the ratio of intersection road flow and the departure interval of tram)under the conventional signal,absolute priority and relative priority.Based on the statistical results of 162 groups of simulation data,this paper analyses the influence of different factors on the vehicles and tram delay,and gives the general suggestions on the selection of control strategies.To further explore the influence of the four factors on simulation delay results,this paper uses orthogonal experimental design and SPSS variance analysis to make the notability analysis of the factors of different signal strategies.According to the significant index of the factors,it makes reasonable explanations and presents suggestions to select signal strategies.Finally the tram simulation data is integrated into the graphical user interface,it is used to make decisions based on the combination of factors and simulation results,it also provides ideas for further research.
