To improve the sound insulation properties of laminated insulation materials,the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer(EVA)based composite materials was prepared by EVA/ steel-smelting scoria powder(SSP)/ waste tire rubber powder(WTRP)with a mass ratio of 100/x/y after a series processes of drying,blending,mixing and mould pressing.The EVA based composite materials and glass fiber fabric were combined as core layer of sound insulation composite.Sound insulation composite laminated materials with different structures were prepared by the laminating of the core layer and different board including calcium silicate board,laminated glass magnesium board and polycarbonate board,and as well as different structural design.The influence of laminated structures on sound insulation performance was studied by SEM,sound insulation performance and mechanical properties testing.Firstly,The section microstructure of EVA based composite materials were observed by SEM.It was found that the SSP could be uniformly distributed in the EVA and formed better embedding binding with the EVA without adding the coupling agent.When adding a small amount of WTRP,we couldn’t see clearly stratified interface in the SEM images,In conclusion,WTRP has a good compatibility with EVA.Next,the sound insulation and tensile mechanical properties of the EVA based composites were explored.It was shown that changing the filler content of SSP in EVA/SSP or EVA/SSP/WTRP composites would cause rearrangements of the sound insulation performance at 1600~3150H_z and 4000~5000H_z of the composites,though they were in the same surface density.SSP content can improve the sound insulation performance of composite materials.At first,with a significant sound insulation performance of the materials containing increasing SSP was tested and the best significant sound insulation performance reached when SSP content was 200.And the impact of sound insulation by WTRP filled content was mainly reflected in the EVA/WTRP composite materials.When the audio frequency was more than 1250 H_z,the sound insulation of the EVA/WTRP composites got better with the increase of the WTRP content.In the EVA/SSP/WTRP composites,the impact of sound insulation properties causing by the variation of WTRP content was relatively small.In addition,glass fiber fabric and EVA based composite material can get a good combination.And at the same time,the sound insulation performance of the composite material was also significantly improved.In the EVA / SSP or EVA / SSP / WTRP composites,the content of SSP increased,the tensile strength increased and the tensile elongation at break decreased gradually.The effect of WTRP content on the mechanical tensile properties of EVA / WTRP and EVA / SSP / WTRP composites tended to be consistent.The tensile strength of the composites decreases and the elongation at break decreases.Finally,the EVA based composites were laminated with three kinds of panels,and the composite materials with different laminated structures were tested for sound insulation.The results show that when the laminated structure contains the air layer,the sound insulation of the laminated system can be effectively improved in most of the Audio areas.The thickness of the air layer has no consistent rule on the sound insulation of three different panel laminates.Whether the structure contains air layer,adding core composite material,can significantly improve the sound insulation performance of laminated structure,especially to improve the sound insulation quantity in the frequency region of the anastomosis.
