The earth and rock dam is widely used in water conservancy projects at home and abroad because of its simple structure,wide application range and low cost.The concrete culvert buried in the dam is an important hydraulic building.In the actual project,the problem of seepage of earth-rock dam has become a very important subject in dam construction.Especially because of the improvement of reservoir water level,the reservoir water will penetrate downstream through the contact between concrete body and concrete.In the event of seepage failure,Will cause serious damage to the project.In the actual earth and rock dam monitoring,due to the earth and rock dam and concrete pipe culverts at the contact degree is not enough,there is no filter layer engineering protection measures,more dam body and pipe culvert where the phenomenon of seepage failure,Physical safety operations have a great impact.Therefore,it is very important to study the mechanism and influencing factors of seepage failure of soil and concrete.The problem of contact seepage of earth-rock dam and concrete pipe is a typical problem of contact with seepage of soil and concrete.In this paper,the factors influencing the contact seepage of soil and concrete are studied by the combination of indoor test and numerical simulation.The causes,starting conditions and failure conditions of this phenomenon are summarized.And the research content is applied to the actual operation of Dayton Reservoir,and the influence of variation of soil permeability coefficient on contact seepage flow is analyzed,which provides a scientific basis for dam safety operation.This paper summarizes the research status of soil and concrete contact seepage at home and abroad,and determines the three main influencing factors influencing the contact seepage of soil and concrete:soil compaction degree,sticky amount and filter layer;design different test conditions The influence of the three influencing factors on the control of the seepage flow and the change of the hydraulic slope are analyzed.The higher the compaction degree of the soil is,the higher the viscosity is,and the setting of the filter layer can be improved.Hydraulic slope descending and damage slope reduction.The ABAQUS numerical analysis is used to analyze the change of hydraulic slope and damage the slope in different working conditions,and the results are compared with the experimental results.Due to the change of hydraulic slope and the change of soil permeability In this paper,the above method is applied to the actual operation of the dam project in Datun reservoir.The change of the infiltration coefficient is simulated by different construction compaction degree,and the change of the contact flow velocity between the dam body and the concrete pipe culvert is summarized,which is provided for the theoretical study and the safe operation of the actual project Scientific and reasonable reference.
