Soil arch is the form of load transfer which gradually forms in the process of uneven deformation of soil.It has important influence on the change and development process of stress field and displacement field in geotechnical engineering.In recent years,the results of measured soil arching,model test and theoretical research have been gradually increased.And have been applied to practical engineering and have achieved good results.At the same time,it can be seen that the theoretical research on the soil arching effect has not been mature so far.The understanding of the soil arching effect is not deep enough,and there are still some problems worthy of discussion in the calculation method.Therefore,research on the fact becomes very necessary.Based on the vertical movable gate test and the horizontal movable door test,the influence of different factors on the soil arching effect is analyzed by means of mathematical simulation software.The reasonable pile spacing is determined and sensitive analysis is made.It is of great significance for the study of soil arching effect:(1)The mechanism and existence condition of soil arch are studied by vertical movable gate experiment.The influence of the shape of the axis of the sand arch,the width of the movable door and the nature of the soil on the soil arching effect and the pile load sharing ratio are analyzed.(2)The reasonable pile width ratio of vertical soil arching effect is determined.Different pile height,soil cohesion,soil friction angle and other factors,with the pile width ratio increasing,pile load sharing the first increase after the increase was parabolic.And there is a reasonable pile width ratio.Among them,when the height of filling is small,the reasonable pile width is relatively small.When the filling height increases to a certain height and continues to increase the filling height,with reasonable pile width ratio unchanged,it tends to be stable.(3)The sensitivity of soil height,pile width ratio,internal friction angle,cohesion and other factors to soil arching effect was analyzed by orthogonal test.(4)The existence of soil arching effect is analyzed by horizontal movable gate experiment.And the influence of soil friction angle,cohesion,pile width ratio and arch earth pressure was also analyzed.
