In this paper,the properties of petroleum asphalt and the properties of the mixture are studied in combination with the conventional performance index of petroleum asphalt,the result of four component analysis and the specific parameters determined under the advanced analysis method.Four crude oils are selected,which are naphthenic base,intermediate base and paraffin-intermediate base.Three sets of representative,high-grade and high-performance heavy road asphalt data are obtained for asphalt performance analysis.Three kinds of asphalt mixes are evaluated by experiment,and their road performance indexes are obtained.The relationship between the four components of asphalt and the road performance is analyzed.Through the analysis to draw conclusions as follow,in the case of other conditions remain unchanged,to improve the stability of road asphalt immersion,the correlation of the saturated components is-0.96.Comparing changing other component,to reduce the saturation component takes the greatest effect.The aromatic component and the asphaltene component may be appropriately increased and the glue composition has little effect on the index.To improve the stability of road asphalt non-water immersion,the correlation of the glue components is 0.94.Increasing glue components can be achieved with almost the same percentage of indicators.The aromatic component and the asphaltene component may be appropriately reduced,and the saturated component has little effect on the index.To improve the road asphalt freeze-thawing splitting tensile strength,the correlation of the saturated component is-0.99.Reducing the saturated component takes the greatest effect.In addition,reducing the aromatic component and asphaltene component's proportion could be helpful to enhancing the effect.The reduction in glue composition also plays a role in the improvement of the indicator.To improve the road asphalt non-freeze-thawing splitting tensile strength,reducing the saturation component plays the greatest role.The correlation of the saturated component is-0.71.Increasing the glue component is also helpful.The correlation of asphaltene component and aromatic component is very small.Increasing the ratio has a smaller effect on this indicator.To improve the dynamic stability of road asphalt,increasing the proportion of glue component and reducing the proportion of asphaltene component and aromatic component play significant roles.The correlation are 0.97,-0.94 and-0.87.The increasing of saturation component also has a significant effect,but it's weaker than other component.To improve the anti-bending strength of road asphalt,increasing the proportion of glue component and reducing the proportion of asphaltene component and aromatic component play significant roles.The correlation are 0.99,-0.88 and-0.80.The correlation of the saturated component is 0.36.The increasing of saturation component also has a significant effect,but it's weaker than the other component.
