Damage to buildings caused by wind disaster is very serious,especially to cladding and components of low rise buildings.So it is of great importance to research the wind resistant design of cladding and components of low rise buildings.And it is necessary to refer to the foreign codes and test data for accurately designing the wind resistant design of low rise buildings.So,based on the introduction of the design theory of wind load on cladding and components of low rise buildings,the following aspects are studied in this paper:(1)The standard formula for the design of wind load on cladding and components of low rise buildings is put forward,and based on the standard formula,this paper compared the coefficients of wind load calculation formulas of cladding and components of low rise buildings in China,Japan and the United States,including wind direction reduction factor,area reduction factor and the peak value of wind pressure coefficient.The emphasis is on the comparison of regulations of the extreme value of wind pressure coefficient of the three countries,and analyzed the reason why these differences appeared.Then this paper points out the problems existing in the code of wind load of our country,and puts forward some concrete suggestions for improving and perfecting the wind load regulations of cladding and components in China.(2)Based on the database of UWO,the distribution characteristics of the mean wind pressure coefficient,the rms wind pressure coefficient and the extreme wind pressure coefficient of the low double slope roof are analyzed,and the influence of the roof slope on the mean wind pressure coefficient,the rms wind pressure coefficient and the extreme wind pressure coefficient of the double slope roof low rise buildings is analyzed.(3)This paper compared the extreme wind pressure coefficient extreme value obtained from the database and the standard value in the codes of China,America and Japan.At last,the rationality of the extreme value of the wind pressure coefficient of enclosure structure of low rise double slope roof buildings is verified,the deficiency of our country's standard is pointed out,and some suggestions are put forward.
