Scheduling Problem Of Container Drop And Pull Transport Between Port Storage Yard And Hinterland

With the rapid growth of the port cargo throughput,container transport as a representative of standardized transport achieved rapid development.It puts forward higher requirements for the collective and distributive system which bear the function,of container's collective and distributive transport.The emergence of drop and pull transport can effectively solve the problem of insufficient handling capacity in cargo handling point of port's hinterland,transportation inefficiencies in transit and so on that container's collective and distributive transport faced between port storage yard and hinterland.But playing the advantage of drop and pull transport must solve the vehicle scheduling problem,this dissertation is being researched just in this context.Firstly,this dissertation analyzes the current situation of the research on the vehicle scheduling problem,the container transport scheduling problem,the drop and pulls transport and its scheduling problem.Then this dissertation summarizes the research findings of container transport scheduling problem and drop and pulls transport scheduling problem.Next,the research contents of this dissertation are put forward.Secondly,this dissertation studies the container drop and pulls transport between port storage yard and hinterland,and expounds the connotation and characteristics of the container drop and pulls transport.Through analyzing the process of container drop and pull transport between port storage yard and hinterland,this dissertation summarizes the tractor's task types under drop and pull transport of container entering and leaving the port and put forward that the key of developing container drop and pull transport is to solve the tractor's scheduling problem.Based on the characteristics of the container drop and pulls transport,this dissertation establishes the scheduling model of container drop and pull transport between port storage yard and hinterland.The model is solved by using the improved greedy algorithm.Finally,this dissertation designs an example to verify the model.This dissertation obtains the tractor scheduling scheme under drop and pull transport mode and traditional transport mode.On the premise of the same transport tasks,this dissertation compares the number of tractors,the number of transport tasks every tractor completed,and the total transport cost under the two modes.The result showed that on the premise of the same transport tasks,drop and pull transport mode can effectively save the tractor's quantities,compared with traditional transport mode.The number of transport task every tractor completed under the drop and pull transport mode is higher than the number of transport task every tractor completed under the traditional transport mode.The drop and pull transport mode can effectively reduce the total transport cost.
