The Study Of Protection And Micro-Renewal Mode Of Historical Towns

Historical town is an important part of the History and Culture Heritage system,its profound historical culture background and precious historical culture resources,bearing an significant role in inheriting the ancient culture and showing the features of the ancient town.However,in reality,lots of historical towns are facing more issues such as developmental damage,over-commercialization,social structural damage and other problems.Huge gap between theory and practice of historical protection as well as the missing items content are exposed.How to protect and fully utilize the special history and culture heritage that our ancestors left us,and how to play the advantages of it in the construction of new towns,as well as adapt to the development of modern life,have become an important issue to be concerned.This paper focus on the characteristics of the current situation of the historical town-XiangFen,which in Shanxi province,and concern the problems in the process of protection and renovation,trying to explore the historical town protection and renovation modes.By analyzing and summarizing relevant protection and renewal theories as well as the domestic and foreign researches,combined with the existing complex problems of historical towns,the author put forward the "micro-renew"protection mode in historical town.The paper mianly includes four parts:the Review of Theoretical Research,Research of The Protection and Micro-renew Strategy,Analysis of Case Study and Implementation.Theoretical Research:Summarized the protection and renewal theories in domestic and foreign countries,and analyzed protection experience and the lacks in the existing protection and renewal mode.Based on the methods of environmental micro elements in shaping historical town's style and featues,and the method of connect theory and practice,provide "micro-renew" protection mode.Protection and Micro-renew Strategy:With micro-renew protection mode,the author put forward protection strategy of protecting and utilizing the material and cultural resources,mining and displaying the intangible cultural resources,micro-renew environmental elements,and formulate relevant guidance method will be provided by the author.Real Domestic Historical Cases Analysis:By researching domestic historic towns during graduate studies,the author selected five typical historical towns among study cases,descript,analyze an evaluate these towns in the protection and renewal work.Also,the author analyze and draw lessons from the successful experience in practice,and reflect its insufficiency in solving specific problems.After that,we may provide more evidence to reinforce the mode of historical town in protection and micro-renewal.Finally,the paper takes Fencheng town as an example,explore and study the implementation,put forward the optimization strategy of protection and micro-renew mode in historical town by exploring and researching the implementationFencheng is also protected and micro-renewed by this mode.Through theresearch,the author tries to provide a new kind of mode for the protection and development of Fencheng,and intent to bring some inspiration to other domestic historical town in protection and renewal progress.
