With the development of industrialization and urbanization in China,energy resources’ consumption continues to grow and air pollution is becoming more seriously.Regional atmospheric environmental problems characterized by PM10 and PM2.5 prominent increasingly.China’s annual emissions of sulfur dioxide are beyond the environment self-purification ability greatly.On the other hand,coal sulfur dioxide emissions account for more than 40% of the total emission.It’s very important to control coal sulfur dioxide emissions strictly.The government of Shanxi Province asked coalfired power generating units’ ultra-low emissions must be completed by the end of 2017,and the limit of sulfur dioxide’s emission is 35 mg/Nm3.In order to meet the requirements,the Shanxi Yuncheng electric power plant decided to transform the unit desulfurization facilities to achieve the goal of SO2 ultra-low emission.In this paper,the SO2 ultra-low emission of the 600 MW thermal power unit in Yuncheng Power Plant is taken as the research object.Combining with actual situation,the equipment parameters of the system after transformation are determined and two sets of reconstruction schemes are worked out.From the two aspects of reconstruction project and construction period,this paper determines first scheme: the addition of turbulence.Accordingly,specific measures include: increasing turbulence device between the original first spray layer and the inlet flue duct,using original three slurry circulating pump,increasing two high-lift slurry circulating pump,and installing a tube defogger in the lower part of original two-stage roof type demister.The operation characteristics of the desulfurization system are analyzed,which fully meet the requirements of ultra low emission.Research results show that:1)The reconstruction scheme is feasible and the desulfurization system meets requirements of various load conditions of boiler.2)Under different load conditions,according to the absorption tower outlet SO2 concentration outage slurry circulating pump,energy saving effect is obvious.3)SO2 ultra-low emissions can achieve the desired objectives.
