The coal boiler start-up ignition,low-load stable-combustion and shut down of fuel consumption are the critical parts of generating cost of power plants.In order to reduce the generating cost and to enhance the economic efficiency of the unit,the development of the new style of oil-saving ignition technology is full of significance.The plasma ignition technology is a new one making use of the plasma with high temperature,produced by plasma generator,to make the pulverized coal hydrogenation?gasification and combustion,then,to ignite the pulverized coal in the multi—stage barrel of the plasma ignition burner,at last,to ignite the mixture of the pulverized coal and air in the boiler.During the course of the pulverized coal boiler start up and low load combustion stabilization,it needs consuming a lot of oil.Plasma ignition technology is an effective means that Call decrease cost of ignition and operating in low load.Plasma generator and plasma ignition burner are the main equipment of the plasma ignition system,whose reliabilities play an important role in the application of plasma ignition technology.In the process of study plasma ignition technology,the study of plasma generator is the most important work for its complex mechanisms of process and too small space.The study of plasma ignition burner is the other important work for its complex mechanisms of combustion process and to high temperature.The composition and principle of plasma ignition system is introduced in detail in this paper.On this basis,according to the actual situation of 2×350MW thermal power unit boiler in Datang Changchun third thermal power plant,the low nitrogen plasma ignition and steady combustion technology,which is advanced in technology and economy,is used as the ignition and steady combustion mode.By using this technology,the direct ignition of pulverized coal can reduce the consumption of fuel and the cost of power generation.Meanwhile,it can eliminate the risks that the original fuel system leaks and get fire,it also can eliminate the risks of the equipment damage and reduce operation and maintenance.In the end,the occurrence of the accident of electric dust collector,which is caused by the mixed combustion of kerosene,has been eliminated,the remarkable economic,environmental and social benefits have been achieved.By comparing the cost of plasma ignition technology,conventional ignition technology and micro oil ignition technology during trial operation and normal operation,The author analysed the economy of plasma ignition technology and the influence factors such as the price fluctuation of coal and oil price.In this paper,the economy of Datang Changchun third thermal power plant plasma ignition technology has been elaborated.
