Design Research Of Children’s Hospital Waiting Space Based On Behavioral Psychology

As an important part of today’s children’s hospital,outpatient and emergency building is the area where the staff and the patient are mainly concentrated.Waiting space is an important part of the overall space of the outpatient and emergency building,from the point of location,it belongs to public space,functionally connected to the consulting room and traffic space,is the most important place for communication between medical staff and patients.The design and organization of the space has great influence on the order of the building.When people’s psychological and spiritual needs are higher and higher,more and more attention has been paid to the space environment,and the negative mood can be reduced by carefully designed waiting space.According to the function and use of special populations of children’s Hospital,the waiting space is regarded as a good space for children and their caregivers reasonable weakened negative emotions,which is an important trend in the design of children’s hospital.On the basis of field investigation and consulting a large number of documents,this paper makes a thorough research and analyzes the psychological needs of the main users and the elements of the design of children’s hospital waiting space,and summarized the children’s medical and architectural design of the new ideas and new trends of recent years,makes a summary of the elements which are suitable for the waiting space design,and at last,obtains the design strategies of the children’s hospital waiting space based on the users’ behavior psychology.Looking forward to provide some references and suggestions for the design of the waiting space of children’s hospital.
