With the popularization of undergraduate education and the development of science and technology,education paradigm,and change the way of learning,students will produce a variety of different learning activities such as group discussion,social communication,experiential learning,etc.,so compared with emphasis on formal space pay more attention to"informal learning space" the design and construction.The library of contemporary university campus is a practitioner of university ideas,and is actively responding to the idea of education.As the most important informal learning site on campus,the library will maintain its status on campus in new ways and change the traditional learning space.In particular,the development of self-directed learning and the development of information technology,the relationship between people and technology,people and information and people will be redefined.How should the university library,as the center for campus core learning,respond to these changes and how to reposition itself and find value?This paper analyzes the cases of the library by reference,field investigation,questionnaire survey,and the introduction of the concept of "informal learning space".The first is through the domestic and foreign research present situation of "informal learning"literature research "informal learning space" and "composite" derivation,the concept of preliminary form this topic research background and theory basis;Collecting a large number of data,try to explore the domestic and foreign university library informal learning space evolution and characteristics of the contrast,summarizes the existing phase informal learning space of the existing problems of domestic university library,and according to the survey summarizes the user demand for these Spaces and then put forward the necessity of building informal learning space;Through many examples and data this paper discusses the characteristics,function and type of informal learning space,from the perspective of the designer,the transition space,service in the library space and edge space is used together with "informal learning space" form a "composite" informal learning space,and sums up their combination method and the design principle,put forward the related design strategy;Finally,the feasibility and practicality of this design strategy are embodied by case reconstruction.
