In the past two decades, the development of information technology has revolutionized the way of acquiring knowledge, broadened the meaning of knowledge and learning, changed the behavior of learning, and put forward new requirements for talents. Therefore, the teaching philosophy and learning mode of colleges and universities have also changed with the times. However, the current situation of the use and design of learning places in colleges and universities in China is seriously inadequate, which can not meet the diversified learning needs of students.Based on the status quo research, the theoretical study of multi-learning and related spaces, and the case study of excellent design practice, this paper summarizes and puts forward the concept of "Learning Center",which exists in colleges and universities, with students as the center,in order to support and promote multi-learning,and provides a multi-functional comprehensive space with diverse learning places and sufficient equipment and technical support. Its functions include single-person learning, collaborative learning, communication learning, multimedia learning and supporting assistance, etc. And through case analysis and research, the strategies and key points of university learning center design are summarized and summarized from the aspects of design principles, architectural design, interior design, equipment and technical design. Finally, combined with the design practice of the graduate school research building of Qishan Campus of Fuzhou University, this paper further thinks about the design of the university learning center. The research hopes to provide a possible basis for the future university campuses to create a more intense learning atmosphere from the architectural environment, and provide an objective and reasonable reference for the design practice of colleges and universities in the future.
