Exploration On The Mode Of Combination Of Elderly And Young In Outdoor Space Of Old City

With the improvements of people's requests about their living environment,the new uptowns pay more attentions to the designs of living environments.Because of many factors,such as the years of building,the limited economic and architectural skills,it is hard for the living environment of old cities to meet modern people's demands.Meanwhile,under the influences of aging population and the more attentions of children's growth environment,each local government studies and implements programs about upgrade the old city,transform the city for aging populations and build children-friendly cities and expects to create better living environment.As the most important component of a uptown,the outside spaces are mainly used by the elders and children who are living in there.The good outside spaces not only could give them safety,comfortable and various places for activities,but also improve their communications,release the generation gaps and build a better community.So,the improvements of old city should include both the transformations of aging population and restructuring of children-friendly environment.We using many scientific results,such as social psychology,behavioral psychology,architecture and landscape science,based on the analysis of facilities distribution,the situations of traffic spaces and opening spaces,the states of green spaces in the living uptown and their activities in Fangcao street,Gaoxin ChengDu,study the combinative spaces for elders and children in the outside spaces in the old city with the professional architectural ways.At the same time,analyzing existing problems in Fangcao street ChengDu with foreign theory of space design and proving some suggestions.We further conclude the key design points of the combinative spaces for elder and children with existing advantages.The design strategy describes the design strategy of public facilities distribution plan,the design principles and content of traffic spaces,opening spaces and green spaces of uptowns.Obtaining the design strategy of combinative spaces for elders and children in the outside spaces of old city,we are expecting to improve some references for the environmental improvements in Fangcao street.
