With the development of society,people's demands for night outdoor activities are also increasing,and the lighting fixtures are essential tools for people outdoor activities at night,Compared with the ordinary floodlights,outdoor LED floodlights have the advantages of long service life,environmental protection,energy saving and so on,so they have broad application prospects.However,the serious homogenization tendency of LED floodlight is not conducive to the construction of enterprise brand image,and can not fully meet the needs of users.One of the important trends of the current product design is to form a differentiated product performance by CMF(CMF:color,Material,Finishing);material is one of the foundations of the product,with the features of good thermal conductivity,and easy to be processed,easy to show the characteristics,Aluminum Alloy is often applied to the design of outdoor LED floodlights.Firstly,the article reviews the processing molding methods and the surface treatment methods of Aluminum Alloy,and it's advantages and disadvantages when being used in outdoor LED floodlights' design;it also discusses the application and feasibility of CMF in the product design of Aluminum Alloy outdoor LED floodlights;then combined with experiments,it discusses the effects of material and processing methods on the heat dissipation of outdoor LED floodlights.This study is to test,design,analyze and summarize that Aluminum Alloy can improve the product qualities and the methods of design performance of outdoor LED floodlight,which are mainly from two aspects of thermal performance and CMF design.Finally it verifies the above theories through the design of an actual product.
