Time-space Analysis Of Urban Expansion And Its Driving Force In Mianyang

With the rapid development of urbanization,the urban problem is becoming more and more serious.Cities are more crowded,and the condition of traffic and environment getting worse.The root of these problems are due to the expansion of city.It was pointed out clearly in new-type urbanization that the urban structure and scale should be taken seriously as well as the research on urban expansion.And puts forward some reasonable countermeasures to optimize the urban planning.Urban expansion is an important representation of urban renewal and metabolism in the spatial and temporal dimensions,and different urban expansion patterns directly reflect the different stages of urbanization development.It is of great significance to carry out scientific research on the spatial expansion of the city,and put forward more reasonable planning strategies to improve the urban quality,improve the living environment and improve the vitality of the city.This paper is divided into three parts to analyze the regular pattern of Mianyang urban built-up area expansion.The first part uses remote sensing image and land use data to extract the dynamic change of the built-up area of Mianyang city in 1985-2014;And through the construction of urban spatial expansion speed and strength compactness and fractal dimension,barycenter trajectory to reveal and study the spatial expansion characteristics as well as expansion pattern of built-up area in Mianyang.In the second part,extracting the driving factors of urban spatial expansion through the method of principal component analysis.Getting the main driving factors of urban expansion by analysing the objective data,and establishing the regression model to verify the reliability of the extracted principal components,besides using equation to predict the area of built-up in Mianyang in2020 and 2030.Finally,according to the analysis of spatial and quantitative data of Mianyang,nearly thirty years of expansion rules are summarized.Through which puts forward the regulation methods and guiding measures based on reality andfuture.
