Abstract/Summary:
As a special type of public architecture,the space quality of primary and middle school has a inestimable influence on the students’ physical and mental development.The building envelope of school has dual function of physical and psychological environment transition.In the broad sense,the separation of envelope and load-bearing system brings itself independent form,the solid surface splits into multi-layer system in thickness,so appears the space of different function and scale.The envelope spatialization not only improves the thermal performance of building,but also become a new type of facade design language,which conforms the development trend to functional complex,energy saving and hommization of domestic building.Through the case studies in broad sense,the article summarize the formative factor and expression of envelope spatialization in primary and middle school,explores the design methods fit in the characteristic of it,which is combined with the needs of storage,shading,lighting,greening,entertainment,device placement,to complete the integration of envelope function,and achieve effective filtering of the external environment,as while as improve the efficiency of teaching space use,so as to provide new reference resource in the architecture design.
