Study On The Spatial Form And Evolution Of Manchu Traditional Residence In Chengde

The residential architecture is related to our daily lives most closely in our daily life,the dwellers cast the concept of space formed in the lives into the residential buildings,different lives and cultures of different regions create different living space,different forms of living space also affect the lives of residents as well as.It forms different nations and living cultures in the process of adapting to different regional environment,and different residential buildings present a wide variety of feature and forms.The paper mainly study on the residential buildings of Manchu in Fengning area based on the theory of inhabitation,and tries to study the residential buildings of Manchu from dynamic and static perspectives.In this paper,the writer select some historical villages as the object of investigation,visiting some houses pertinently,and makes a thorough investigation of the residential areas,combined with historical data and Literature.We have an overall understanding of the behavior of the residents and the residential buildings on the basis of the investigation,on the one hand,an investigation was taken on the main elements of the courtyard space and the interior space of the houses in residential building aspect;on the other hand,a survey on the residents’ living behavior and family structure from the perspective of individual and family.The paper analyzes the morphological characteristics of residential space statically from two aspects,one is the study about the size distribution of residential space’ elements,and the classification about different plane forms of the houses ’ interior;one is the corresponding relation between residential behavior and living space.Finally,this paper studies the process of the evolution of residential buildings from the historical point of view,and analyzes the dynamic relationship between the living behavior and the spatial form.At the end of the paper,there are the summaries about the space forms of the residential buildings and the process of its evolution,besides,there is also the expectation about the development trend of Manchu ’ traditional residential buildings in Fengning area.
