Arched corrugated web steel curved beam,a new type of structure combining the advantages of corrugated web steel straight beam and arched steel curved beam,has been applied in structures with large-span space structures and bridges.Yet,only little research has been carried out on its specific internal force variation,bending bearing capacity,shear bearing capacity,overall stability and partial stability.Based on the basic assumptions of open thin-walled members,this paper adopted the theory of accurate warping displacement formula,has thoroughly analyzed the structure of thin-walled curved beams by means of the law of energy conservation and the principle of virtual work,and deduces the expression on total potential energy of the curved beam in geometric nonlinear cases and the stable equilibrium differential equation of curved beam based on Euler formula.Furthermore,by using the finite element software ANSYS,this study,under action of the mid-span concentrated loads and the uniform radial loads,has also presented the comparison difference of the stress variation cloud on vov Mises stress,1 st Principal stress,XY shear stress and Y Component displacement cloud between fixed ends of arched corrugated web steel curved beam and the arch steel curved beam.The results show that the upper and lower flange plates basically bear bending moment and shaft,and arch corrugated webs basically bear shear force.Its performance is basically stronger than the arch steel curved beam.The application of the finite element software ANSYS also facilitates the exhaustive demonstration on the modeling,the meshing,the loading and solution of the arched corrugated web steel curved beam.This paper,under action of the mid-span concentrated loads,also introduces the comparison of the first order modal figure?five order modal figure between fixed ends of arched corrugated web steel beam and arch steel curved beam.It has revealed that the buckling characteristic value of arched corrugated web steel beam is much higher than that of the arch steel curved beam.In addition,The nonlinear buckling is also analyzed to obtain a series of load-displacement curves and ultimate load values.It is concluded that the out-of-plane lateral displacement is always larger than the vertical displacement in the plane,which is prone to bending torsion buckling.Based on different data setting on half wavelength,wave height,web's height and thickness,flange's width and thickness,setting the initial defects and central Angle of arched corrugated steel web steel curved beam,by ANSYS,the author respectively comes up with P-u curve,P-v curve,P-? curve,the limit load value and the displacement value of ultimate load values.Accordingly,this paper puts forward the conclusion that with the increase of the wave height,web height and web thickness,flange width and flange thickness,ultimate bearing capacity thereof would tend to be strengthened;on the other hand,with the increase of the half wavelength,initial defects,central Angle,the ultimate bearing capacity,would tend to be weakened.Arch corrugated web steel curved beams are prone to happen the bending-torsion bucking.Under the action of uniform radial load,calculation formula of critical axial force of bending torsion buckling of curved beam hinged at both ends and under the action of moment,calculation formula of critical bending moment of bending torsion buckling of arch beam is respectively combined with the equivalent stiffness of corrugated webs of corrugated webs.However,since the equivalent stiffness of corrugated webs does not take into account the curvature of arch beams,the curvature is analyzed by ANSYS.The finite element value and the calculated value of the combined formula is analyzed,and by carrying out the linear regression analysis of the ratio,the correction coefficient formula is fitted to correct the combination formula.Under the action of general load,arch corrugated web steel curved beams is composed of compression-bending members.The stable equilibrium differential equation has no analytic solution.According to the correlation analysis results of compression-bending members,the linear regression analysis is carried out.Under action of the general load,the author deduces Internal force discrimination formula of elastic bending-torsion buckling of arch corrugated web steel curved beams.
