With growing import and export trade of China,the major domestic ports are facing enormous challenges brought by the huge throughput of goods.As the main distribution center of import and export goods,it has important significance and economic value for the container terminal to improve the dispatching efficiency of trucks.Based on the actual operation of a famous Chinese container terminal and fully taking account of its concurrency and randomness,this thesis develops a simulation system for scheduling truck and operating equipment to simulate the actual operation flow of the container terminal.Various dispatching algorithms are designed based on the analysis of their corresponding operation type of container terminals and verified using the simulation system.Firstly,according to the characteristics of container terminal handling operations,a real-time scheduling algorithm for container trucks is designed based on the positioning system of container trucks.Then,for those container trucks outside terminal,a real-time scheduling algorithm based on feedback is proposed to solve the problem of time-efficient operation.The algorithm takes into account the operation efficiency of the loading and unloading machinery and the container trucks,deploys waiting queue and schedule queue for each loading and unloading machinery,and schedules trucks according to the trucks' position provided by the gate information system.Finally,an algorithm is designed to schedule the work lines of container trucks for those operations with loose requirement to time.According to the task information in the task pool and the position information of the container trucks,the proposed algorithm collocates the operation route for the container trucks and let the trucks complete a fixed number of tasks within the shortest time.Some results shown above have been applied to the truck scheduling system of a famous Chinese container terminal.
