This paper mainly illustrates the optimizational dispatching question to Container Truck in the Container Terminal, especially emphasizes the optimizational dispatching algorithm of container truck. Through Arena simulation software package, the paper simulates the process of Container Truck optimizational dispatching in QingDao QianWan Container Terminal on the foundation of the traditional dispatching algorithm and Dijkstra algorithm and Minimal Waiting Time Algorithm.This paper expresses the traditional dispatching method in mathematic way, introduces the application of Dijkstra Algorithm to optimizational dispatching of Container Truck and establishes its mathematic model. In addition, this paper proposes Minimal Waiting Time (MWT) Algorithm including establishment of its mathematic model, which considers the combined dispatching process of loading, unloading and transferring of Container Truck, based on the minimal waiting time of Container Truck. Moreover, this paper compares the optimizational dispatching algorithm with the traditional dispatching algorithm and demonstrates differences between the Dijkstra algorithm and Minimal Waiting Time algorithm.Based on the ARENA simulation software package, by taking into consideration parameters of equipment and importing and exporting flow chart in Qingdao Qianwan Container Terminal, this paper simulates the transporting process of Container Truck according to different dispatching algorithm mentioned. The paper analyzes different kinds of data, such as the deploying number, the serving and waiting time of Container Truck and its transporting distance of a single ship or multi-ship. What's more, this paper explores influences on deploying number of Container Truck which is caused the velocity of the empty and heavy container truck and serving time of Quay Crane, investigates the optimum serving time and simulates the working process of Qingdao QianWan Container Terminal. Therefore, these will guarantee the operators to choose proper Container Truck, Quay Crane and Yard Crane.According to our research, this paper presents the possibility of decreases of serving and waiting time and the deploying number of Container Truck. At the same time, this paper also illuminates the possibility of increases the rates of equipment utilization and heavy rate. Furthermore, the throughput of the Container Terminal will be enhanced.
