Architecture Design For Academic Communication Center In Danyang Campus Of Nanjing Normal University

With the arrival of new epoch,China's higher education idea also needs innovation and change,the traditional university campus scale and function has been unable to meet the requirements of the new epoch,the planning and construction of new campus began to rise.Campus is no longer closed talent base,with the city and the society more closely linked,the needs of cultural communication and cooperation between universities keeps growing.As one of the basic facilities of the campus,Academic communication center is becoming more and more important in the construction of campus.The traditional academic communication center mainly used as hotel building,functional space and management mode are also carried out in accordance with the ordinary hotel,the orientation of bearing the function of academic communication has problems,not enough to become a symbol of University culture.In the face of the continuous strengthening of the trend of integration of urban campus,the increasing academic communication demands,academic communication center design also needs to conform to the trend of the times.As academic communication center should meet the deeds of both the school staff and off campus personnel,being building of highly openness,academic communication center design needs to consider the relationship with the school,and the relationship between the cities.An academic communication center with perfect function and in line with the characteristics of the epoch can play an important role on the cultural output,and positive meaning in the future development.This paper is based on the research of university academic communication center,focusing on the low-level part space,which is mostly combined of public space,through analysis of specific case,researching the problems of existing academic communication center,the functional demand,and the specific design of the low-level space.Finally applying research results to the practice of the design of academic communication center on the Danyang campus of Nanjing Normal University,doing the specific design and achievement display.There are five chapters in this thesis.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background and the method.The second chapter mainly introduces the definition of academic communication center,the role it plays in the school and the city.The third chapter is research of the lower space,the combination of low layer space and four functional spaces,summarizes the existing shortage of academic communication center,The fourth chapter is the design of the project of the academic communication center on the Danyang campus of Nanjing Normal University,and focuses on the design of the low level space.The fifth chapter is the technical drawings of the project.
