Create Communication Space In Students Center Of University

Since 1990s,with deepening of the education reform, the university is changing from transferring knowledge to training ability. In recent years, the university town was built in many cities, and many educational buildings were built. But the students in the new campus can't find the suitable space for communication. The new students center should be fit for students to communicate with each other.The new aim of education is training the abilities of students, it's very important to give more chance for students to communicate with each other. The students center is the very building for students. It should encourage any kind of communication.Through the research to the characters of students' activities in university, with the analysis of the item of architecture space, we can know which item of architecture space can encourage the communication of students. In the article I research how to encourage more communication in every kinds of functional space, and also the communication space of students center in China and overseas. Then I analyze the new changes of students center and the connection between the changes and education reform.At last, I research how to encourage more communications in every kinds of functional space through the project of students center rebuilt in Tongji University. In the end, I expect that all the teachers and students can enjoy themselves of the education.
