The vacuum vessel(VV)is one of the core components in a magnetic confinement fusion reactor.The main functions of the VV are to provide a high quality vacuum for plasma's generation,maintenance,heating and diagnosis,and support components in VV and their mechanical loads.So the VV require a very high reliability.In half a century,for much deeper fusion energy research,countries around the world set up a large number of nuclear fusion devices one by one,and the Tokamak nuclear fusion devices under construction are more and more huge and complex.Design and manufacturing of VV for large magnetic confinement fusion reactor becomes one of the hot spots for international fusion reactor research.The CFETR is a comprehensive experimental platform between ITER and DEMO.The paper based on the CATIA 3-D molding software and the ANSYS finite element software analyses the safety performance of CFETR vacuum vessel.And learn the structure strength of the CFETR vacuum vessel under various loads.The main job contents as below:1.Introduced the vacuum vessel of CFETR detailed,and established the simplified analysis model of vacuum vessel based on related references.2.Based on the ANSYS software,introduced the detailed electromagnetic analysis steps of CFETR vacuum vessel in the situation of plasma disruption.And get the result data as eddy current distribution on vacuum vessel structure,the heat load and electromagnetic distributing characteristics,etc.And state the analysis results of electromagnetic analysis.3.Based on the structural analysis theory,using ANSYS software do the modal analysis and buckling analysis of CFETR vacuum vessel.Get the natural frequencies and modal shapes,as well as the critical buckling loads of linear and nonlinear buckling analysis.4.Based on the dead load,neutron radiation load and the electromagnetic load obtained by the previous analysis,do a detailed simulation for the heat and structural stress on CFETR vacuum vessel structure.Get the temperature distribution and stress distribution on whole CFETR vacuum vessel structure under the combined loads of gravity,neutron radiation and electromagnetism.
