Global energy internet is one of the promising approaches to respond to climate change, environmental pollution and depletion of fossil energy. The report analyzes generation and load characteristics and supply-demand balance under global energy internet and supports the future development of global energy internet.First, research on global generation distribution and generation capacity structures of principle countries is conducted.Regional equivalent generation models of traditional and renewable energy are proposed respectively.Based on correlation analysis of renewable generation under various time and geographical scales, sequential self-correlation model and geographical correlation model are established.Second, the increasing trend of electric power and flexible character considering electric energy substitution is analyzed.Searching for the historical power and electric energy consumption data of main countries or region around the world is one part of the research. Then, based on the analyzing of electric energy data the electric load models are found to describe the increasing trend of electric power and flexible character.Besides, the planning optimal model of electric energy substitution is a new model of planning power system which is different from the former.Finally,supply-demand balance considering time zone and market differences is analyzed.Focusing on differences between global energy internet and traditional power systems,a supply-demand balance method considering time zone and market differences is proposed, which optimizes global cost while guaranteeing economic benefits of subsystems. Then, taking cross-border power flows as inputs,a probabilistic production simulation model on the basis of equivalent energy function is developed. The proposed model coordinates multi-generation operation and considers time zone and market differences.
