With an average altitude of 4500 m,the Geermu to Lhasa section of Qinghai-Tiber railway is known as its years-long rarefiedatmosphere,insufficientoxygen,intense ultraviolet radiation,complicated climate and special geological conditions,it's called a railway great wall built on the “third pole” of the earth.As job for permanent way,in order to maintain well the Qinghai-Tibet railway,to conquer years-long frozen soil,coldhypoxia and fragile ecology become 3 difficulties to assure safety and stability of railway infrastructures.From its operation of Geermu to Lhasa section started at July 1st,2006,the economy of Tibet and Qinghai province has been under highly developed,as a fact of high density and weight increases of the train,the load of track increases correspondingly,and the track geometry deteriorate intensively,especially due to the impact of base under the rail and big long slope,the variation of track irregularity has become a most significant issue.This become a new challenge for assure the quality of a years-long frozen soils railway line especially to the prevention of track irregularity.In the meantime,the section between Geermu-Lhasa is a single line,due to the saturated sustained growth of the passenger and cargo carriage volume,the “window time” is highly reduced for maintenance of the line,and the conflict between operation and maintenance is becoming more and more significant.In order to assure the safety operation,the only way to repair the defects detected both dynamically and statically is to apply for the “temporary window time”,which caused interference to normal operation of the line.How to assure the safety and stability of railway line facilities and operations,basing on the maintenance,through quantity of dynamic and static inspectional,suitable plans and conclusions and analysis,grabbing the trend of track status variation,controlling the quality of the line,improving the management and assuring the track smoothness becomes urgent and important.This article is based on combination of domestic and international track irregularity prediction mode research,as well as all the dynamic track geometry data inspected from the beginning operation of Qinghai-Tibet railway,did a research analysis for the Qinghai-Tibet railway track irregularity variation trend,built a prediction mode based on TQI of Yanshiping to Tanggula high instability frozen soil section.This article also did research of inspection & analysis solution of track irregularity,especially for the deterioration.Furthermore,it also did analysis for the cause of abnormal value of the detected track irregularity data,trend and drift of localization,as well as for the solution for the abnormal data.The article also did research for TQI variation trend of Qinghai-Tibet railway,and built prediction mode for Yanshiping to Tangula TQI variation trend.
