With the continuous improvement of China’s economic level,Infrastructure construction has also made rapid development.The curve beam bridge with single pedestal piers has been widely used in highway engineering and municipal engineering because of its beautiful appearance and good economy.However,in recent years,The curve beam bridge with single pedestal piers overturned accident occurred sometimes,it attracts a high degree of attention of engineering and technical personnel.The accident occurred in the bridge before the routine inspection and detection did not find the problem,Indicating that relying solely on routine inspection and testing can not effectively eliminate the security risks,the need for further assessment,At present,there are still some shortcomings in the research on the method of evaluating the existing single-pillar bridge.In this paper,the research on the anti-overturning performance evaluation method of the single column pier bridge is made.The evaluation method of anti-overturning performance of single-column pier bridge can be divided into two parts,namely,theoretical calculation and evaluation method and load test evaluation method.First of all,In this paper,the calculation and evaluation method of anti-overturning performance of single-column pier bridge is introduced according to the existing regulations and the relevant documents.Secondly,the anti-overturning performance of the single-column pier-beam bridge is evaluated by the special load test method,and the test evaluation method of the anti-overturning performance of the single-column pier bridge is studied.The risk level of the single column pier bridge is put forward,and the actual operation status of the bridge is graded.At last,The use of the above assessment method to assess the requirements of the single pillar does not meet the requirements of the pillars need to be reinforced accordingly to eliminate security risks,three kinds of reinforcement methods are used to calculate by the midas civil software and evaluate the reinforcement in this paper.
