Metal oxide surge arrester is a kind of commonly used equipment in the power industry to ensure the normal operation of the power system.The lightning arrester(also known as MOA)is the main principle,the equipment applied in the atmospheric overvoltage or internal nonlinear control,so as to ensure the protection of voltage on the device is applied in the normal range.However,in practical work,this surge arrester due to over-voltage,may produce damage,resulting in relatively large current leakage.After the leakage,but also lead to power loss,causing serious damage to MOA,and even more serious accidents may occur,endangering the safety of personal property.Therefore,in the power industry,it is necessary to pay attention to the regular maintenance of arrester,lighitning arrester leakage detection.Only in this way can we ensure the normal operation of MOA and ensure the safe operation of power system.It has important practical value for the electric power industry.In this paper,the author mainly focuses on the working principle of lightning arrester and monitoring circuit are analyzed,factors affecting the MOA work,and then set up suitable platform for online maintenance system,and combined with the analysis of mathematical model.After the model is built,the traditional on-line detection process is tested and improved,and the implementation scheme of MOA online monitoring system is designed.In the scheme,the data measurement,transmission and analysis are discussed.In this paper,the design of the lightning arrester fault diagnosis system based on neural network is presented.Design of power supply system for on-line monitoring system.This paper also combines the traditional monitoring system,designed a relatively easy operation of the management system.This management system can achieve a good scalability,and in practice,the security performance is guaranteed,but also easy to operate.In this paper,the design of the MOA monitoring system,on the one hand,can provide a solution for the real-time detection of lightning arrester in power industry,on the other hand,it also has some reference value in other high voltage equipment real-time monitoring.
