In the 21st century,with the rapid increasing of energy consumption,price of oil rises quickly too,and supply of energy is becoming more and more tension.Contradiction of increasing need of energy and pollution is more and more bulge.The most effective method to solve this question is to develop renewable energy.European countries first proposed to develop a flexible,clean,safe,economical,friendly and other performance requirements of the smart grid.Then foreign scholars begin to research distributed source as an important issue.Large-scale use of wind and solar energy can effectively improve the energy and environmental issues.In 21st century,distributed energy has a prosperous future in power system.Based on the definition of smart grid and intelligent city,this paper analyzes the present situation of smart grid at home and abroad.The development status and development goals of smart grid with Chinese characteristics are emphasized.The environment benefit of the smart grid is clarified,and the realization path of the smart grid environment is expounded.Based on the development status of wind power generation,the power characteristics of wind turbines are analyzed.Analyze the variable pitch control teclhnology of wind turbine based on the characteristics of power,and explore the influence of grid-connected wind power on grid system.This paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of wind farm and wind power integration,and discusses the importance of smart grid for wind power integration.Combined with the case of Guodian Ji'nan Changqing wind farm combined with smart grid,this paper explores the role of smart grid in improving the grid capacity and reducing the wind power grid-connected risk.This paper takes Guodian Ji'nan Changqing wind power station as an example to verify the application effect of smart grid on new energy sources.The project capacity is 49.5MW,It consists of 24 sets of 2MW wind turbines and one 1.5MW wind turbine.By deploying WPPM(Wind Park Power Management),Guodian Ji'nan Changqing wind power station changes from a traditional wind power plant into a smart grid under controllable wind power station,providing clean energy for the city of Ji'nan.Before the deployment of WPPM,wind farms can only simply "trust to luck" type of power generation,power grids are difficult to control the access.Due to the climatic characteristics of wind power,the access power is not stable.In addition,the wind power station has no restriction on the power of the Internet in order to ensure the economic benefits,which brings uncertain factors to the stability of the power grid.Through the deployment of WPPM,the wind power plant can be controlled by the smart grid,the grid company can control the active output of the wind field according to its given active value.It alleviates the effects of climate instability on generation efficiency and the instability of power supply to cities,to provide a large number of clean energy in Ji'nan,reducing the supply of petrochemical energy ratio.
