A Study On Vehicle Maintenance Management Of Chengdu Metro Network

Smooth operation of urban rail transit equipment is the precondition and basis for the quality of metro operation,and the operation quality of urban rail transit vehicle,as the major carrier of metro passenger transport,is directly related to safe and punctual running of metro operation.Beijing,Shanghai and Guangzhou etc with an early start in metro operation constructed metros under specific historical background,the early vehicle maintenance mode was mainly referenced to vehicle maintenance systems of railway.Along with rapid development of urban rail transit,the operation mode developed from single line into networking operation and the operation and maintenance mode of rail transit became more flexible."Vehicle maintenance management optimization,a concept for improving the maintenance management level",aroused the attention of the urban rail transit field,and vehicle maintenance management was extensively studied in Beijing,Guangzhou,Shanghai and other cities.In line with Urban Rail Rapid Transit Construction Planning of Chengdu City(2013-2020),Chengdu has entered into the second round of rapid development stage of metro network.The metro backbone network consisting of metro line No.1,2,3,4 and 7 and covering about 180km were put into operation in 2015,and the urban rapid transit network covering about 350km will be completed by 2020.In order to satisfy vehicle maintenance requirements arising from rapid expansion of Chengdu metro network,realize systematicness,coordination,uniformity and rationality of the whole metro network as well as optimization and resource sharing of vehicle maintenance management,improve the maintenance quality and the service efficiency and to reduce the operating cost,maintenance requirements and schedules for vehicles and car depot equipment were studied in the perspective of metro network operation,and vehicle maintenance was preliminarily discussed from the point of vehicle maintenance mode,maintenance standard,balanced maintenance schedule,un-wheeling repair plan and optimizing configuration of maintenance equipment.
