The Research Of Summer Palace’s Heritage Monitoring Index System

With the development of China’s economy and culture,Heritage protection transforms rescue protection into preventive conservation.Heritage monitoring has become the key instrument for this transformation.In order to carry heritage monitoring,we must understand the value of the heritage,the risk factors,and then clear the legacy of the elements which need to be monitored,and the monitoring indicators,and which technology will be chosen.Through the research of all avove problems,we can effectively carry out specific monitoring work and avoid the waste of resources in the monitoring process.This article will use Summer Palace as the scope of the study,the heritage body,the environment and heritage management as a research object,based on heritage conservation and heritage management point of view,based on summarized,fieldwork interviews,multidisciplinary perspective and other methods,to finish the following work : 1 、 Based on the outstanding universal value and the heritage constitute of the Summer Palace,analysis the monitoring requirements of the heritage body.On this basis,build 25 indicators;2、Based on the influence of environment on the heritage,analysis the monitoring requirements of the environment.On this basis,build 22 indicators;3、Based on the influence of management on the heritage and Summer Place’s own management,analysis the monitoring requirements of the management,build 9 indicators;4、Select adaptive monitoring technology,monitoring cycle and monitoring accuracy of all the built indicators.Providing initial guidance for rational heritage Summer Palace expand monitoring work,and providing an initial reference to other national cultural heritage sites related research on monitoring indicators.
