This paper, based on numbers of science theory, such as urban planning, architecture, heritage protection and the embryology, which take the heritage corridor protecting as entry point, and the area of The Capital Iron and Steel Company by Yong-ding river as study case, study the construction method of the industrial heritage corridor, analyze the position of its heritage corridor, and establish the building system of the Capital Iron and Steel Company industrial heritage corridor, by setting elements of three levels:green corridor, interpretation system and areas between heritage sites. On the basis of deep case studies, extract the general strategy of Industrial Heritage Corridor building.First, the paper defines the concept of heritage corridor. By cases analyzing, definitions and theories, build a complete system of heritage corridor. And then, based on the theory of Industrial Heritage Corridor, define and analyze the concept of industrial heritage corridor,and its protective content.Second, take the Capital Iron and Steel Company as study case, explore building method and system from the perspective of the factor analysis, evaluation method and form research. In factor analysis, focus on natural elements, industrial civilization elements and human factors aspects. The main analysis of the natural elements is the Yong-ding River, Shi-jing mountain and other natural landscape; industrial civilization factor,which is taken as the theme, focuses on two levels: industrial area and individual building. Industrial areas research focuses on the history while individual building research focuses on comprehensive value evaluation through historical value, cultural value, technical value, artistic value and economic value; human elements study on the Garden Expo and Lu-gou Bridge War Memorial base, residential areas and recreation parks are taken as corridors either.In the evaluation methods, the paper explore the feasibility of industrial heritage monomer building through quantitative analysis. The evaluation criterion is for industrial heritage corridor building, and relations with other factors around were based on the relationship of function, history and space. Roads, construct buildings, and various periods of history are introduced. And for other elements of the framework are present by GIS software, to establish quantitative analysis platform. By means of gravimetric analysis and GIS computing platform, selected40buildings and evaluate their historical value, technological, cultural, artistic and economic aspects. With GIS platform for natural breaks classification, divide them into three levels. Based on the summary of three levels, define their relationship with the Yong-ding River.Here, the paper study the corridor protection objectives and principles, scope and level, regional building pattern and protection of individual building respectively and deeply. For basic principles such as integrity, authenticity, dynamics and efficiency. Then, divided the study area into the Lian-shi lake part of Capital Iron and steel company and the Garden Expo and Lu-gou bridge area, and draw specific protection scale of the two regions and corridor width; thus discuss the corridor constructing, interpretation systems and traffic organizations; Finally draw the two levels of protection of individual buildings in gathering area.Finally, the paper unfold through three chapters-repentance, thought and strategy. repentance is the reason why the industrial heritage corridor has not been given enough attention; thought is the complete summary of the building system; strategy is to draw a general strategy of corridor building.The innovation of this paper is:drawing the spatial, historical and functional significant relationship of elements above though the study of history of industrial development of the Yong-ding River and industrial heritage and cultural landscapes along the Yong-ding river presenting the way to build industrial heritage corridor for protection and reusing,Providing reference for the protection of the regional industrial heritage corridor through putting forward strategy for the construction of Industrial heritage corridor.
