Ship propulsion shafting is an important part of ship power system, which plays an important role in the process of ship navigation. Thus,it is indispensable to carry out the necessary load test in the design of ship propulsion shafting, catering calculation, the installation and adjustment of the shafting. The key to the design and construction of the ship is to ensure the unity of the scientificalness and validity of the calibration results in the ship shafting alignment, the one of the effective ways to solve the problem is by studying and developing in the higher accuracy calibration technology and method of the ship shafting alignment.Firstly,in this paper, the current research status of ship propulsion shafting alignment is introduced.Secondly, the principle of force measurement, measurement method, mathematical model, calculation method and auxiliary software program are introduced. It is found that the deficiency of the traditional lifting method to measure the bearing load in the actual installation measurement is limited by the jacking coefficient. This paper proposes a new method for correcting the actual load of bearing, which is independent of the lift coefficient. Finally, through the comparison between the theoretical load curve and the measured load curve,it can be concluded that the linear fitting method can not be used to measure the actual load of the bearing. This method can improve the accuracy of ship shafting alignment and ensure the normal operation and safety of ship shafting. The study showed the result that the technique of bearing load can be used for practical operation without using the lifting factor. The theoretical verification and practical verification showed that this technology has a very wide application prospect and can provide some reference for the bearing load of the same kind of ship.
