The shortage of water resources and water pollution are important water resource problems faced by people.Because of the spatial distribution,there is an imbalance in the region of water resources.Meanwhile,with the growth of economy and population,the water resources demand is increasing.However,in the condition of the shortage of water resources,the amount of sewage and waste water discharged into the environment is increasing due to human activities.We discharge waste water into natural river bodies,and the result is the sharp deterioration of the water environment.On the one hand,it affects the health of the body,on the other hand,it makes the water resources lose its original value.Huangbizhuang Reservoir as a water source for agricultural water,industrial water,city water supply,which bears the important task of economic development among the river basin.In recent years,the reservoir was subject to different degrees of pollution,which has seriously affected the water supply.It has reduced water supply to Beijing due to poor water quality.Therefore it is necessary to put forward a set of feasible solutions to resolve the pollution problems.In this paper,we put forward the methods of numerical simulation to analyze the water quality through understand the present water quality and draw lessons from previous research ideas.With the development of economy,computer technology is widely applied in various fields.So the model of numerical simulation software is updating continuously.According to the actual situation of Huangbizhuang reservoir,we choose the MIKE21 model to research the reservoir among the so much software.Through the understanding of the scope of the model,operating procedures and operational functions,which lay a solid foundation for the establishment of the reservoir model.The MIKE21 model is divided into many parts: hydrodynamic module,water quality module,wave module,sediment module and so on.In this paper,we mainly research the hydrodynamic module and water quality module.The hydrodynamic module need to collect the data of water quantity,the precipitation data,the wind speed and wind direction data.When it refers to weir and sluice culvert,it also need to collect these data.These data are analyzed and processed to meet the MIKE21 requirements,then we can simulate the variation of reservoir flow field.Based on the simulation of flow field,we put the quality data into the model to research the water quality field.In the operation of the model,there is a general phenomenon that the result is inconsistent with the actual situation.So it is necessary to calibrate the parameters.We define the year of 2015 as the research year because of the limited data,and the simulation time is determined from January 1,2015 to December 31,2015.Through the simulation of hydrodynamic of Huangbizhuang reservoir.The results showed that the measured values of water level above the dam are more consistent with the simulated values after adjusting the hydrodynamic parameters and the flow field reflects the flow field in the reservoir.The water quality simulation of Huangbizhuang Reservoir was based on hydrodynamic simulation,the variation trend of water quality in the space and time was basically consistent with the pollution situation in the reservoir area after he influence factors of water continuous calibration.So the hydrodynamic and water quality model was believed to be reliable,strong applicability,this model can be a solid foundation for the future development of reservoir scheduling and replenishment plan formulation in order to make the water quality of Huangbizhuang reservoir improved.
