Research On The Planning And Architectural Design Of Continuing Care Retirement Community(CCRC)

This thesis focuses on the problems facing pension facilities in our life can not be sustained,lack of pension community planning and architectural design theory, the continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in two aspects of the planning and architectural design are studied. In terms of planning, the study of continuing care retirement community (CCRC)planning principles, community scale, functional structure and layout; architectural design, this paper makes a comprehensive study on the independent living facilities, living facilities,assisted living facilities and community care center, summed up the attention of architectural design and the corresponding strategies, including space and service space assisted living care center combination relation and the concept of nursing group.This paper uses the methods of literature research, empirical research and qualitative research. In theory, firstly, the solution through the research on the basic problems of China’s endowment and put forward, namely the establishment of continuing care retirement community (CCRC), so as to establish the basic research object and content; then, research and analysis of the continuing care retirement community (CCRC) related theories, including theconcept of continuing care, related concepts and operations model and related trends, this is the continuing care retirement community (CCRC) design theory. In the aspect of empirical research, this paper summarizes and analyzes the main points of the scale, functional structure and layout, and the main points of the monomer design by analyzing and summarizing the domestic and foreign projects of CCRC. Finally, the author takes the practice project of the retirement community in Shunyi, and actively explores and examines the application of the research results in the practice of the subject.
